Julia Darling (b. August 21, 1956, d. April 13, 2005) was an award-winning British novelist, poet and playwright.
Julia Darling come from either Newcastle-upon-Tyne. She won a Northern Rock Foundation Writer's Award inside 2003 and was was best known for her Booker Prize-longlisted novel ''The Taxi Driver's Girl''. She died of breast cancer, aged 47.
